Exitus, The Odyssey Of A Hare, is a collection of oils, mixed media and print tracing the journey of an emblematic hare. The imagery is profuse with symbolism, but remarkably open, each piece standing as an element in its own right.
Set in both the internal and external landscape, the images are figurative but allegorical. Using symbols from our Celtic, Classical and Christian heritage, it explores the personal yet universal experience or change.
The collection was exhibited in the Kenny Gallery Galway in 2019. The show was opened by Prof Felix O Murchadha, of the Dept of Philosophy, NIUG.
